The Railway Museum

Today was Sarah's birthday (she's 28) and we gave her the day to spend
on her own. The kids and I went to a huge museum outside of Tokyo --
the railway museum.

The Japanese take their railway system very seriously, and it shows in
the museum; you can probably get a sense of that from the photo.
Picture a four-story warehouse about 400 yards long, filled with
trains from the 1800s to today. Almost all the trains were open for
climbing into (the one exception being the emperor's train). Needless
to say, it was kid heaven.
